Panama Canal Cruise

A Panama Canal cruise is a rite of passage every traveler
should experience at least once in their lifetime. Adventures abound including
the exotic Yucatan Peninsula, the wild beauty of Costa Rica and the plazas and
cathedrals of Cartagena. Panama has a wide range of tropical landscapes
including pristine beaches, rain forests, cloud forests, over 900 species of
birds, 1500 species of trees and over 7000 vascular plants.
The most impressive of all is the Panama Canal itself. Since
its opening in 1914, the Panama Canal has been considered an amazing feat of
engineering that is acclaimed the world over as one of man's greatest triumphs.
The Panama Canal is one of the world's engineering marvels.
It took ten years and more than 10,000 men to build. Yet when it was finished, a
ship could travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific in about eight hours.
